1. Introduction

Modojo AI ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our video editing platform and related services.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Your email address and display name (nickname). This is the only personal account data we keep on our servers (stored in Supabase).
• Usage Data: Information about how you use the service — features used and generation/credit-usage records — stored in Supabase for billing and support.
• Media Content (your files): Images, audio, video and projects you work with are stored locally in your own browser's cache (IndexedDB) on your device. We do NOT upload them to, or keep copies of them on, our servers, and we have no access to them. Only when you run an AI feature is the specific content needed for that operation sent to the AI provider to generate the result (see Section 4); we do not retain it afterwards.
• Payment Information: Payments are processed by monobank. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
• Device Information: Limited technical data such as IP address is used for security and fraud prevention (e.g. referral abuse).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Process transactions and manage your account
• Communicate with you about updates, support, and promotional offers
• Ensure security and prevent fraud
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Third-Party Services

We utilize the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Authentication and database. We store only your email, nickname, and usage information there — no personal media files.
• Google Gemini AI: Used only for AI processing. When you run an AI feature, the content needed for that operation is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate the result, in accordance with Google's privacy policy. We do not use Google to store your personal data or your files.
• monobank: Payment processing for credit purchases.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your account data (email, nickname, usage information) is stored in Supabase, with encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.

Your personal media files and projects are stored locally in your browser's cache (IndexedDB) on your own device — they are not uploaded to or stored on our servers, and we have no access to them. Clearing your browser data will remove these local files, so keep your own backups of important work. Content sent to the AI provider to generate a result is transmitted over a secure (TLS) connection and processed under that provider's terms. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Data portability

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
